I'm extremely happy with my Weber Summit S-470.

Tom, I got da Consumer Reports tests. The top rated unit was the Vermont Castings VCS322SSP($1,000; cast iron grates). Almost equal was the Char-Broil 463250512($400; Home Depot; cast iron), given a "Best Buy" with price considered. The Weber E-330($800; cast iron)and S-330($950; stainless steel)followed closely. Various Broil King and Napoleon models were ranked lower.

Cam, since Tom asked "Whaddyagot", I thought that response was appropriate.

Awaiting delivery of the Weber Genesis S-330.

I wasn't able to get my hands on a Vermont Castings. I really like the build quality and the design of the Weber, both of which seem significantly improved from the model I am replacing. I am very eager to put it to use.

Thanks, again, as always, for your valuable assistance in clarifying my thinking.
