The A2 and A3 have a heavy-duty version of the woofers used in the M80s and M60s on top of the other features above. We will be introducing versions of the M60 and M80 with these drivers later this year.

The Mini A is not similar to the M22 as it is a larger overall speaker and a 6.5” three-way.

With the advent of the Model T there seemed to be a place in the Bryston line for a physically smaller range of towers and bookshelf speakers. Given that the whole project began three years ago because James at Bryston was a big fan of the M80 it seemed sensible to make a Brystonized version of the M60, M80, and M100 as the next logical progression in the line.

Ian this heavy duty version you speak of, is it an all new driver that could be used to update past versions of the M80 or will it also require a crossover change like the upgraded driver used in the M100 .

In all honesty the A1 and the M100 are more similar than they are different. If black drivers and a bit of extra bracing is worth a $600 price premium , i submit that perhaps i am not the one that is on meth. FWIW my meth habit has nothing to do with your rudeness to other posters. From reading this thread , it would seem i am not the only one that has some issues with what would seem to be nothing more than rebranding.

NOW we're getting somewhere, Richard. Thank you. I think a lot of us here feel the same way about our own meth habits and the Forums.

That's why Bob wraps his face in his avatar, so you can't see the aging ravages of meth ...

hmm, my old age is showing, I totally missed the vp160. Nice choice on the VT50 plasma. I see the new ZT from Panny is suppose to be the Kuro killer , unfortunately at 3800.00 American its out of my reach for now.

Seems like time has taken over where the meth left off.

The A1s are huge! Gotta be almost 5 ft tall. That would be some immersive stereo.
