Is anybody use the stands sold by Axiom for QS8's?
If so how sturdy are they and how well does the bracket on the back hold the speaker in place?
I will be setting the stand on a small riser about 6 more inches in height and want to make sure the speaker is nice and steady on the stand.

Thanks

I can't comment for other users however these stands work extremely well for the QS8's. Have used these exclusively for years. The build quality of the stands is very sturdy and the bracket holds the speaker in place quite firmly. Like any other stand if you bump into them they will tip over. My son knocked one over a few years ago and the speaker fell on the floor still attached to the stand.

I got the stands when I ordered my QS8's and am very satisfied with them. Very well built and speaker is secured well to the stand. Mine are top heavy because I didn't fill the tubes with sand or shot but because of their placement tipping/falling isn't an issue. Placing the stands on a 6" riser I would find a way to fasten the base of the stands to the riser and weigh down the riser somehow for peace of mind. Just my 2 cents.

I have had the stands for years - did not fill them with anything so they are top heavy. I have not had them knocked over as they do sit fairly close to the knee wall in the cave. If mounting to the wall is not an option, then the stands do quite nicely.
