They'll have to offer much more money than I was makeing when they laid me off. Even then, I'm not sure I'll take it.
Something about working for a comapany that has laid me off.
I'm glad to work freelance for them. They pay me 3x more than when I worked for them full time.

THEYRE NOT!!!

For the last two years I have made MORE than 3x what I was makeing from them when I was full time. And I work only a 1/3 as much.
I know insurance is high for a large co., but I doubt its that much higher.

I work in quality control. I spend 6 months out of the year in Veracruz Mexico, where I happen to be right now. I am working at a steel mill monitoring various activities for our customer ExxonMobil. I think its about 80 degrees outside and sunny like usual today. I miss my Axioms...oh yea and my family too...

High School Science teacher in Montana. In the summer I am a campground host in Glacier Park, 35 miles from the nearest electricity. From axioms to real peace and quiet, what a difference. I don't think that any music playing on any speaker system can sound as nice as loons calling in the early morning.(Bears growling at night are a different story). Camping, hiking and kayaking all summer, nothing better than that.

Network planner for VoIP telecommunications provider. Design, implement, and maintain MAN/WAN/ISP capacity for 5 markets.

Previously taught high school math, which was my original degree pursuit. The Internet boom and the lure of a better financial outlook sealed the fate of my teaching career.

Depending on the time of year, or what needs to get done on a particular day, I’m either a Project Manager, Construction Supervisor or Maintenance Coordinator for the Trans Alaska Pipeline System.
