Wow! I disappear for a while to do a kitchen remodel and it looks like I missed a bunch of stuff... Ian has to make a new forum rule, for instance. Wow.
So on to my question.. We are going to put in under cabinet lighting and I handsome very low profile Hardwired outlet strips all picked out and now they're discontinued. I did find some replacements, but at $250 for an 18" strip its not going to happen. Anyone know of a source for something close to the product in the link? Thanks, Scott |

When we built, we found several options for low-profile raceways supplied from the friendly cabinet shop who did our kitchen. The ones they used could be cut to length and recapped at the ends to fit wherever. We went with the stainless ones for absolutely no good reason, since you can't see them. Except that it seemed more 'kitcheney'.
A quick Google came up with a bunch of online, electrical supply stores with similar. ![]()

Thanks, Murph. Found a variety of pricing on the same items - still wasnt cheap, but I was able to take care of the island and all the under cab lighting outlets for less than just the stainless outlet strips for the island from another vendor.
