With exception to two weekend trips to Toronto, I've been bedridden all summer. I wasn't planning on going, but I really wanna see some peeps again. My one sore that's keeping me bedridden will *hopefully* heal up soon, and I get away for the festivities and some mind-freeing time. I can't book ahead because my gimpy body is so unreliable, so hopefully I can get reservations somewhere on short notice.

Here is a general rundown of the weekend festivities.

Friday Night-Get-together and get-to-know-you at the resorts Lake of Bays Club
Saturday-Factory tours, round table discussions (ideas for topics welcome), mingling, and a live dock concert to close the night. The concert will move indoors if the weather doesn't co-operate.
Sunday-Breakfast and good-byes at the resort.

We'll make sure that you have a room at the resort if you can make it. Get well, and hope to see you there.

You really do need a "Like" button.

We can't have a "like" button, ever. Why? It will be misused and abused by too many of us. We have a history of abuse of "features" here. Boy, that was fun! I still miss it.

Cam, if I could give all of my own "health hopes" for the month to you, so you can go to Dwight, I would. I hope you can and do. (Crapola! If THIS many people who have proven that they can tolerate me in person were going, I may have considered it.)

Attn: Newbies to Dwight!

Oh, he may be a nice guy; bright, great sense of humor and all, but do not let that fool you! Cam is a terrorist in pity drag. If you get into it with him about anything, he can saw you in half with his eyes! You've been warned.

Have a great time, all. WTH, I don't have to WISH it for any of you. You WILL have a great time!

P.S. If you can't get Amie to show you her shoe "closet," ask her to at least show you the architectural renderings and the floor plans.

If you do it, we can all try to gather in the same place. How about Cleveland? smile

I vote YES! I cannot tell you how bummed I am that I cannot be there. Instead of driving up to Axiom that Friday, I'll be undergoing a heart catheterization. Like Tom, the last one of these was one of the best times in my life. I'll leave it to Craigsub to carry the torch for me. I'll be thinking of you all and I'll be following comments and PICTURES here on the forum. May you all enjoy yourselves as much as we did last time.

Deb:

I'm heading east this weekend to visit relatives in Ontario, then on to Dwight the following weekend.

When we arrive in Dwight on the Friday, do we go directly to the resort & check in? I don't want to bother you at the factory if it isn't necessary...

It would make sense to head to the lodge and get checked in however you would not be a bother if you decided to stop at the factory first. Either way is fine with us. A few of the Axiom crew will be heading over to the lodge at some point. We're just not sure what time that will be yet. I'm almost thinking a nap will be in order before we head over. I know how crazy most of you are wink
