I'm confused too Jack.

Craig - by my count you have at least 37 subs at your home. I'm guessing that sometime during this test, a sub may find it's way into the mix!

Yes, There are subs all over... though only 8 are here, not 37... I was actually going to ask you guys... more tests with or without subwoofers ?

The general consensus here is that bookshelf speakers should be used with a sub. But, that doesn't mean you can't do some measuring without a sub. I would think you'd want to do some tests without a sub. But then, I don't know what the shazbat I'm talking about.

Jack... How hard do you really think it will be to convince me to fire a subwoofer up ?

Oh you young people! Shazbat is an expletive that the character Mork (played by Robin Williams) used on the old TV show Mork and Mindy I can't speak for others, but I always interpreted it as an uncensorable substitute for kaka. (Don't ask, Peter)

ROTFLMAO! Did you know her in 8th grade? Interpret the word "know" as you choose.

Did not know her... in either meaning... but the concept of her being easy did not seem too far fetched...
