I'll have to give 12 monkeys a try..

I only watch series. They get recorded to the DVR, then we watch a show and zip through the commercials. I have gotten to where I simply can't watch a commercial, unless they are during the superbowl....

A couple other series that I watch worth mentioning:

Black Sails
Vikings
Helix
Banshee
Street Outlaws

We should have a thread dedicated to TV series...

I just hope Mr. Martin releases the next book before I die...

The series is a good distraction. It misses and messes with a lot in the books, but is well produced and acted.

I'm not much of a book reader but watching the show got me interested enough to try the first one... gave up after getting about a third of the way thru. heh
