Has anyone done a direct comparison? Curious if the Bryston's are worth almost triple the price. I've been thinking about buying a pair of the T's.....BUT I can't imagine they are truly that much better than the M100's.... Any input please! Thx

I don't know about the M100s. I can only compare them to the M80v2.

I have not heard the model T. I hear they are exceptional sounding speakers, but I think you have figured out the part of diminishing return.
Are they better than the M100? I have been told yes.
I know that I would not be able to hear much difference if any at all as I know that my hearing is not the best and getting worse as I get older.
If you look at the spec, the speaker is said to be +/-3db 25hz to 20khz, where the M100 is realistically good down to 40hz. Brystons have the 8" drivers where Axioms come with 6.5". What are you listening to? But if that lower frequency register is very important for you, then quite honestly, you would be better off with a good tower speaker and a sub.
I have the LFT1100 and they have an awesome sound stage. I have a pair of EP500's on order that will likely bring me at least down to 18hz, but I am told that I might get lower as I have ordered a pair.
I personally will be willing to put my LFR1100s with the subs up against the Brystons. Heck, I'd be willing to say my LFRs without the sub probably sound better than the Brystons.

Thx I too have been curious as to how the Bryston line up compares to Axiom. Keep in mind Bryston supplies a dealer network and therefore that "pesky" dealer mark up exists. What percentage is incurred I don't know but for sure it adds a significant cost to purchase Vs. internet direct. It's a business model I'm not critiquing as a negative just saying there's a cost to this arrangement and it's usually the buyer that gets the credit card swiped.

I have listened to the Model T sweet, sweet and sweet. the finish for a $8K speaker is something that needs to be desired. Sound is awesome, love the bottom end a lot. great sound stage. Is it worth the 8k? not for me, I do not have that kind of money to toss around. I have not heard the M100, either so direct comparison I cannot do. I really can see noticing the difference between these two as a $4000 worth.
But, if I made $200K per year I'd probably buy em just because
