Blacksburg?

You do know that a Hokie is a castrated male turkey, right? Talk about being on the low end of the mascot totem pole....

Oh well, I'll look beyond your past indiscretions and choices...you seem to be on the right track these days, anyway.

Another victim of wahoo propaganda....I'd expect a bright attorney such as yourself to be able to see past that. The Hokie bird...is more like a turkey on steroids.... and I had a choice of going to UVA...but given my decision to be an engineer...it was no contest. However, if I were going to law school...and I've given that very serious thought...everytime I'm bored with what I'm doing... then UVA is very high on my list of choices.

Curse you for reviving the thread and "making" me wast 20 min...

Here's most of mine, at least what I can remember. I'll throw the guantlet down and see anyone can match the eclectic list of 80's metal, R&B, hip hop, rap, adult contemporary, pop, hawaiian, gospel, etc.

YNT
Dokken
Quiet Riot
Dio (post Sabbath)
Metallica (at the Stone, just after Kill 'em all was released)
Motorhead
Motley Crue
Fat Boys
Run DMC
Jewel (several times during the first 2 albums)
Julia Fordham (at least 6)
Everything But the Girl (2x)
New Edition
TLC
Christina Aguillera (opened for TLC years back)
Kirk Franklin
Madonna (3x, you can hate but she has great shows)
Janet Jackson (2x)
Prince (this last concert, wow)
The Time
Jurassic 5
Roots w/ DJ Numark & Kut Kemist
Busta Rhymes
Cypress Hill
Lauryn Hill
Fugees
Digital Underground
Parliament
Tuck and Patti
Les Nubians
Guru
Vonda Sheperd
Outkast (AWESOME)
Blackstreet
Jamiroquai (in the UK before they broke out)
Maceo Parker (who opened for Jamiroquai)
Iron Maiden

Bunch of Hawaiian groups that only haoleb would know...
Fiji
Sudden Rush
Sean Na'auao
Justin
Ho'onu'a
Island Riddim Band
Sister Robi
Kapena
The Mana'o Company
Ho'aikane
Three Plus
Natural Vibrations

Ones I hate to admit cause I was dragged by an ex-fiancee:
Wham! (as opposed to just Wham)
Pointer Sisters
Katrina and the Waves (how's that for one hit wonders)

Tonite (8/19) at the Fillmore: Common, De La Soul, John Legend (YAY!)

Ha! You get serious points for the Fat Boys show alone. And don't feel badly about the last three -- Michael Bolton opened for Heart when I saw them, but no one really knew who he was yet.
