What a busy summer/year. Thought I'd drop by and say hi. Upgraded to my dream car. Sold the RX-8 and picked up a 97 Corvette. Been to the track and done some autocross with it. Need better tires but it's still a blast to drive.

Anyone else working something cool?

Digging a deep financial pit, looking at it kinda like a life lesson. One I'm pretending isn't happening to me.
On a positive note we're drinking a nice rum and listening to tunes.

Sadly it's the factor of time that is the most limiting. You only have so much of it on this earth, and everything you collect during your stay you can't take with you except for one thing... your memories.

Some serious philosophical stuff going on here.

I know my personal priorities have been shifting for a couple years now. Maybe it's my age but I have really been bitten by the automotive bug. I almost never play video games anymore and don't spend nearly as much time just sitting listening to music. Still use the HT for movies a couple times a month thou.

I just can't get enough time with the car. Fixing, tinkering, driving, racing! As they say "Winter is Coming" so that's about the end for this season. See if I shift back to other things, at least till the temps go back up next year.
