So the mill finished the wood and I picked it up today. The four pieces ended up 19" wide, 1" thick and 68" long. I also got a 1" reveal for each shelf. The wood is sapele which is a type of mahogany. According to Wikipedia it's commonly used for guitars, flooring and other random things. It's super dense, strong as hell and it'll deal with the heat better than most wood. I started with the first of three coats of clear satin poly tonight and it's looking real nice. I'll do two more coats and then it's build time. I finally got the shipping email from Axiom and FedEx today so this might come together just in time.

sure do wish I knew how to make the picture post right in the thread.... anyway, I've got to pick up some laquer thinner to get all those damn stickers off the pipes lol

I think the wood will blend nicely with the 180 and M100's
