I have never heard the EP500v3, but do have a pair of new v4's and they are impressive.
Well, I have paired them up with some LFR's so from the pure music standpoint they really don't add too much more on the bass end that the speakers could not do themselves. But on movies they blow you away.
Anthem: AVM60, Fosi DAC-Q5
