I'm setting up my system in a den. The room is about 12x15. I'm wall mounting my M3's at the top of the wall on the 12' side. I have the option of mounting them at the corners or at a spot about 32" inside of the corners. The corner location will be better for concealing the wires, but I'm concerned about what it means acoustically.
Any Advice?

Can you make a small hole in the wall (use a low voltage plate to dress it up) and drop your speaker wire down to floor level, either bringing it back out and running along the floor to your source or hiding it behind the trim?

I didn't even bother with a LV pate as speaker level for my main floor family room. i just drilled a hole the same size as the speaker wire and fed it into the hole. As it wasn't an outside wall so no insulation, it was easy to fish it out at the bottom where I put on a Monoprice banana plug wall plate around electric plug hight. Looks great.

You are better off mounting away from the corners, and away from the ceiling corner too if you can. Bracket wall mounting will create an interference notch at about 200hz and a big bass bump of about 5-8 db around 100hz or so due to the rear porting and boundary gain. Adding these 2 symptoms up results in a dip of 15-20db from flat. Not much you can do about it but EQ the snot out of it. This seems bad, but they will still be very enjoyable and listenable. Your ears will get used to it and fill in the gaps.

Axiom speakers are meant for free field positioning. An on-wall model may be a better choice for your application.
