I had a last minute opportunity come up to see Bad Company with Joe Walsh at Red Rocks this weekend. The planets aligned for me, and I got flights and hotel reservations. I have not ever been to this venue, or this part of Colorado.

Any pre-trip advice?

Red Rocks is one of the best places to see a show. Linky.

The concert was fantastic. Best venue I've ever seen. The sound was incredible. Both bands friggin rocked it. I'm shocked that these guys can still play and sing as well as they did. We had VIP seats center stage, 9 rows from the stage, and had pre show back stage passes for a quick, but memorable experience.

I would highly recommended that if you like concerts and can swing it, go to Red Rocks.

Great to see you had a great time, Michael. It does look like a special place.

That's what I've heard from anyone who has seen a concert there. I missed out on the two times I've been through Denver
