Guys, I just built my first Android device and was trying to find a way for it to stream to the AxiomAir. I found this free program (AllConnect - Play & Stream) that works great: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.tuxera.streambelsWhen you run it, it sees all Airplay devices (AppleTV, AxiomAir, etc.) and you can directly stream music from your device to the speaker. I needed to do it this way because my main device is an iPhone, and I wanted to keep the AxiomAir on the network as-is. So, for anyone who has both iPhone and Android, and wants to be able to stream to the AxiomAir with both, this program is very nice. Good Luck!

However, when I looked at this software some time ago it appeared that you need a rooted phone. Is this still the case? Thanks, Andrew

Nope. You can use it on a non-rooted phone.

Andrew/SRoode, I have an Android phone running Marshmallow. I installed Tuxera Allconnect. Upon installation, and running the app, it recognized my phone, and all DLNA devices running on my wifi (AA was shown both as itself, and as a DLNA unit). However, I am unable to either stream the audio part of a youtube clip, or play pandora on it.
How should I proceed? Thanks in advance!

I'm in same boat. Can't get any of the apps you mentioned to stream from my Android phone to my Air. Yes I can get locally stored mp3's on my phone to work, but not an app like youtube, vimeo or a radio app. But I also have Denon amps, and it I can't get the phone to stream to them either so it's not just the Air. Our iPhone works fine via appleplay, but we are moving away from Apple.
