I received my AA the day before leaving on holidays which was great timing as it gave me a couple weeks to muck about and enjoy at my leisure. I think my wife has even forgiven me for adding yet another audio device to our lives.
At home I have a Synology NAS (DS3612XS) which holds my entire music collection ripped or purchased over the last 15 years (about 15,000 songs) in various formats. I added to the AA via the GUI but was initially uncertain as to the correct field inputs to make that work as I couldn't find specifics in the manual or elsewhere. For others' reference the settings that I used which worked were:

It mounted TRUE as expected with 4.6 TB size and began scanning my files. Taken about 15 minutes so far to get thru about 400 of 1500 artists and still going.
