Not a rock star, I guess, but Ron Glass died on November 25th. I didn't hear until today.
I enjoyed his work in Barney Miller back in the 70's, but for me he will always be Shepherd Book.

Sad to hear. He and his character really added a lot to Firefly & Serenity IMO.
