Yeah the floating effect of the vp150 just looks cool. Gimme two mount points and two fmb brackets into studs.... might work.

Learn from others bad luck https://www.axiomaudio.com/boards/ubbthreads.php/topics/331679/1Long story short. Mount point failed inside speaker, it fell tore my screen, all said and done i remember the final bill for new screen and having to move pj, ceiling work and cables was about 1500 Canadian.

Originally the T-nut was against the inside of the cabinet so if you over-tightened the mounting bolt it could tear the flange off the T-nut. Now the T-nut is inset to end right at the rear of the cabinet so it cannot be over-tightened; the end of the T-nut will just contact the flange of the FMB.

Mine was up for 5+ years before it fell. The nut failed. Was not overtight. Bad luck that is all.
When did the design changed as I just mounted m3's and was hesitant about the fmb.
