Yeah the floating effect of the vp150 just looks cool. Gimme two mount points and two fmb brackets into studs.... might work.

Learn from others bad luck

Long story short. Mount point failed inside speaker, it fell tore my screen, all said and done i remember the final bill for new screen and having to move pj, ceiling work and cables was about 1500 Canadian.

Originally the T-nut was against the inside of the cabinet so if you over-tightened the mounting bolt it could tear the flange off the T-nut. Now the T-nut is inset to end right at the rear of the cabinet so it cannot be over-tightened; the end of the T-nut will just contact the flange of the FMB.

Mine was up for 5+ years before it fell. The nut failed. Was not overtight. Bad luck that is all.

When did the design changed as I just mounted m3's and was hesitant about the fmb.
