Nope. Doesn't matter in a residential sized install.

The speed of electricity in a 12-gauge copper wire is 299,792,458 meters per second x 0.951 or 285,102,627 meters per second. So unless you have some really really long cable runs, i doubt that you will be able to perceive and difference in timing between the speakers

Kind of puts it in perspective with those numbers. Lol. Guess 15 feet difference in cables won't make a hoot of a difference. Lol

Ha, if you think 12 is overkill, I ran 10 in my living room. The longest run is only 30 feet too...haha. I scaled back for my basement though and stuck with 12. smile

16 Gauge zip wire - so that they nicely fit under the base boards. One is 25' & the other is 35'.

Works just fine...
