Well got my DSP1124P a few weeks ago, picked up a UMIK-1 mic and lots and lots of trials and figuring out sweeps, moving speakers around. 80hz XO, 90hz XO and more sweeps etc
I cannot get the M22 to 60hz, they fall off at 95hz.
The EP350 well falls around 65hz.
Had a drastic drop ar 60hz and 82hz, but after moving my seating ahead 1.5ft and the M22 another 8" or so off the back wall I got the 60hz pretty well gone, but cannot get the 82hz to boost. Actually it came up 8db.

But, oh the bass is so much sweeter. not so boomy, tighter punchier. But, I realize the EP350 is not what I want.
Going to try a EP500 and may end up going SVS Plus or Ultra.
But, I do see I need the M5HP's

If you have EP350's you should look into the DSP1124P

nulls right around 70 hz are pretty common. stupid bass waves are long and come back on themselves. Just curious if you ever tried aa sub crawl, i never have but heard its the best way .

Hi TroyD. I've owned an SVS SB13 ultra for about 3 years now and abslutely love it. I have had it installed in 2 different rooms with excellent results. I'm not any kind of expert as I have not heard any of it's peers. Bought it on speculation and there was no way I was going to send it back! The Canadian distributor provided me with very good customer service.

It's one of those ignorance is bliss things. Once you know where the issues are, you just gotta fix em. wink

This is where you can really start to pin down your subjective taste and correlate it to an objective result. Once you start to measure and tune you are on the road to what is possible. Your $ will go much farther when you can rationalize cause and effect relationships. Don't buy anything yet. Figure out where in your room the M22s roll off naturally without a sub. Then add the sub. Doing both at the same time is fighting uphill because the sub will null the M22s response until it is put in phase with them. You should be able to get a good response down to 30hz or so if you mess around enough.

The M22 just not getting it any better, Tred them on the wall mount bracket I've tried all along the wall from either side of the tv to the corners. This is the best I can get.

The sub, yes I did the crawl I got three or four good locations, however two are in the real and for a single sub, can't stand it there. Right beside me and everytime it plays I know.
Now it is up front off the wall about 3ft to centre,

This is the best it has sounded. I am just playing with house curves trying different ones. I think I have one I like or two or three.
