When I first got my Axiom speakers I was blown away by how they sounded. I found this website to be insightful and as the posters changed, I still found it fun to read.
I learned quite a bit and thank Serenity and Craigsub for that. I got lots of help from others like bridgman and socketman. Thanks for it all
But the level and direction of conversation has sadly dropped below the level to keep me here, so I must sadly say adieu.

I agree it has changed recently, but as the longest regular on this board it always seems to go through phases. I have found that the conversation changes, and the people along with it.
Sorry to see you go, and I have also dropped from site for long periods of time.
My current issue is that nobody at Axiom is returning my emails...which I find a total lack of professionalism, particularly when I get one from them, and then they disappear!

This place is kinda like a marriage ,we have just run out of shit to talk about. We have all evolved together over the years and learned and grown and we just dont need the help we once needed. We dont get much fresh meat in here anymore, our newbies have grown up.I have really lost my zest for making any improvements or upgrades, and dont really have the extra cash i had before i bought my house . I am more than happy with what i have though one day Emotiva will have the Atmos ready and i will probably upgrade over a long period of time to soften the blow. I notice things are not what they used to be at the Emotiva forum either, more idle chit chat than any realy questions or concerns and even AVS is on the slow side from what i have seen in the past couple of years. There just doesnt seem to be any wow products ,like its all been done. Sorry to see ya go matt ,maybe we will see you back one day.

Yeah, I come here every day (sometimes multiple times a day), but rarely post anymore. I was never one of the "BS-ers" (which I mean in the most positive way) like many of the "Top Posters" and so my post count will never reach that high.
For me, I've been "settled" with my Axiom setup for a while now. My theater room hasn't changed in over a year as well (Had to check my theater build thread, and my last post was in June 2016)...
I've also been super busy doing graphics/photo work for people on AVS that want custom printed acoustical panels for their rooms. I do a lot of them for free in hopes that it draws enough work that people that want to pay for my work see me as the "best" option. Unfortunately, the amount of paying people is pretty small. One busy week that I had, I was working for about $1/hour and spent a huge amount of time on things.
Throw into the mix that I have other projects that I am trying to get done around the house, and that my boss was so kind as to give me a whole additional IT support client/contract to manage (without any additional pay, and with me traveling twice a month just for that client on top of my existing travels), and I am just feeling worn out by the time it comes to posting online.

Ditto here. I'm pretty well settled here & am not going with Atmos as there would be too much surgery required to my house.
The crew is applying the final coat on my HG Rosewood VP160 & it will ship next week.
It will be a V4 vs my present vinyl V3 but I did it only for aesthetic reasons.
BTW - Axiom is now using Canada Post for shipping (at least domestically)...

That's what they sent me as shipping labels. The VP160 weighs the most but doesn't break the 66 lb limit I guess. It is about 45 lbs without the box...

What I'm seeing is that as third-party shipping SW gets better vendors are able to use multiple shippers to optimize for each shipment.
AFAIK it used to be that the main source of shipping SW was the courier companies themselves, which pretty much guaranteed lock-in.
