I watched Jojo Rabbit again last night, still really liked it. It's a nice surprise when a comedy is executed so well, has a strong identity. It's one I'll be making friends watch.

The Danish National Symphony Orchestra Perform Spaghetti Western Scores.

It's as if the actives with their dual 500s have transported me to this live performance. I am effortlessly hearing surround in stereo as I am caressed by ripples in an immersive field of bass.

Instead of doing taxes or installing my closet (we just moved ... picture clothing in large piles all around the bedroom) I goof'ed off to checkout a new toy:

Put a ClarkSynthesis TST429 transducer in a old couch (in great need of recovering). and installed rubber isolation pads under its feet. Took a while to dial it in to make it almost transparent so most of the time you don't know it's there ... but wow ... it feels like the sub goes so deep that the world shakes.

Started the movie: Captain American, the Winter Soldier.

I was really enjoying it until my wife sat down. Then every time there was loud abrupt event she would jump and grab me which made me jump and lose my connection with what was going on ... This happened so often I had to move to the other side of the couch.

Surprisingly, She didn't like the transducer
I think the tactile feedback was just amping things up a bit too much. Or maybe it was the anti-snuggle effect it had .... hmmmmm

It was not that high ... only loud things are felt ... but I guess I can try a bit less and see if the enjoyment factor is diminished any ...

C R A W L at reference level.

We felt every bone-munching moment and just finished yoga to relax our sub-massaged bowels.

One 800 and two 500s are good, ya? Two 600s would be better than two 500s, no? Why not four 800s, eh? Mooowaaaahahaha!

I still want to check that one out. One of these days.

Tonight I re-watched No Country For Old Men. I haven't seen it in ages, and I'm happy to say it holds up.

Too funny, I just watched No Country for Old Men last week and share your opinion.

Not sure how this happened, but I'm now hooked on Killing Eve. It's a BBC series. On season two now. Edgy, clever, different.
