What year was V3 introduced. Some pics I see on the internet show 4 binding posts at back to bi-wire while I also see some pics of V3 with only 2 posts.

I believe it was early 2010. With that version, you could order a single or dual set of binding posts as an option. Prior to that, dual sets of binding posts was standard.

v3 was from 2010 to 2014. The bi-wire is a no charge option on our products so you will see some of both. Most people do not take the bi-wire option.

I believe the bi-wire at that time was a $30 or $40 option but it's not like I'm keeping notes on Axiom or anything... smile

Hmmm...my notes tell me that's when a more transparent fabric was introduced and magnetic grills. A new metal dome was developed some time in 2009 and cross-overs were refined as well. The dust cap was changed from black fabric to albino aluminum. I'm not sure if any cabinet changes were made.

The shipping packaging was improved also.

That was also the year Ian bought some new sandals.

I joke about Ian's sandals but I truly love him. He's dedicated his life to his passion and I believe his ultimate goal is audio nirvana for any consumer class.

How cool would it have been to be his spawn, born into the anechoic chamber, on a bed of A1400 amps warming the behind, EP800s infasonically tickling the loins, suckling on an albino aluminum dust cap and surrounded by the glorious Family of Curves of an LFR1100!

Ok Mojo, your last is so 'out there' that I believe I ve read everything. It's funny though. After a sip of ferrofluid it makes total sense...

We need to warn Ian to put a warning sticker on the subs that include the 'gut punch' option:

"May induce personality altering levels of euphoria which could become permanent after prolonged listening."

I like that! smile I find Axiom is very low key about its accomplishments.
