I've just received a couple of replacment M3 In-Ceiling speakers and noticed a few changes that make them better than the initial versions I had received:
1) Speaker Terminals are now a spring loaded type (but can still take plugs). This is good as the old ones were screw down types and I found these could rattle
2) The Allen Bolts for the clamping system is now different to those holding the speaker assembly (so you can not accidentally tighten the wrong ones)
3) The Clamps are now longer so they work better with different thickness sheeting. Unfortunately, it is still not long enough to clamp the speaker on 10mm Gyprock used in Australia. I pack these out with a double thickness of mounting tape or else they would rattle.

Thanks as always to Axiom for the replacements!

Thats not very encouraging really, 600 bux a set and you had to warranty them. I am agonizing at the moment on what 4 speakers i want to use for my ATMOS , was waiting for a bit of a sale from Axiom since summer can be slow for the theater business. Also looking at KEF Uni-Q and Paradigm . HMMMMMmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Actually I have 6, and the woofer was dead on 1 and I was not sure about some buzzing on test tones on another.... but Axiom replaced both to their credit. 4 get use as ATMOS Speakers, and 2 as Surrounds in a separate setup.
