As of last Friday I have started to receive almost daily follow-up emails from the axiomaudio.com side - not sure how to disable those without disabling all of the other emails from Axiom. The emails seem to be triggered when you look at a product but don't make a purchase, and list the products you looked at. That's not unusual (although most sites seem to be triggered only when you put/leave something in your cart) and I'm not complaining about the emails in general, but they are kind of excessive if you are active on the forum and looking at product descriptions to help answer questions from other posters. Any ideas ? If I were king I would suppress the emails to anyone whose post count is over some threshold since anyone with that many posts probably already has a big pile of Axiom stuff and doesn't need to be reminded that they looked at something. (from a convenience perspective looking up our loyalty balance would be fine, but from a security perspective I hate the idea of connecting systems that don't need to be connected just for convenience) The emails I want to see are the ones about my recently ordered LFR1100's and ADA1500

I'd say this is Axiom experimenting and eventually they'll put the right business rules in place. I like how you surreptitiously snuck in your new bragging rights.

I have had no such emails... Neither have I. He's special because he has LFRs and an ADA-1500.

I've been getting them, but I was logged into the site and did put something in my cart, so the emails have been about that specific item.

I guess I am special... all I have to do is click on a product page and it gets included in the emails.
Does logging into the forums also log you into the site ? My recollection was that they were separate activities but I might have done both on the same night...

I have to log into my account. But you and Charles are special because you have 'nad mass with your LFRs.

i started getting emails too. Perhaps it's because I have a pair of LFR's aswell. I don't have an ADA1500, but do have two of the ADA1000's so perhaps those add up to the ADA1500 in the eyes of Axiom.
I guess I am special too.

I look forward to getting these e-mails when I get my ADA on Thursday. I'll send them on to BBIBH.

I only get their typical adds and spaced out nicely. I want info....to bad we couldn't get behind the scene pictures and other stuff crazed fans might want to see or hear. Almost wish I was a fly on the wall. Or upper management. Lol.

What kind of behind-the-scene pictures do you want? Audio design porn consisting of Bode plots, root loci, schematics and finite element models of magnetic flux?

Ahhh...I see. Like a photo of Andrew in the chamber with a "WTF look" on his face as he discovers there's an unexpected bump in The Family of Curves after spending 3 weeks and weekends making mods to tame it.

It seems that I am now on the email distro list...sorry, I think it is poor corporate policy to suddenly begin sending emails outside of the transactions we have authorized email communication for. CASL is an important piece of this...
...and I dont care if "Steve was really embarrassed..."
Curmudgeonly yours,

OK, I think the software that runs Axiom has become self aware... not intelligent, just self aware. Then again, that probably describes a lot of people these days.
It seems to be grimly convinced that I need a VP180, LFR1100's, M5HPs and QS8's, and is apparently going to keep sending me emails until I order something.
Too bad it can't read my signature. At least it's not trying to sell me M40's.

Don't feel bad. Today I received an e-mail telling me I deserve the M5HP, M100 and EP500. And I do! I do! Except I have two of them and the third will be coming. At least their AI hasn't forgotten me.

I really hate the thought that the solution for software having too much of our personal info and doing annoying things with it is to give the software *more* of our personal info, but I would be really happy if I could stop getting emails exhorting me to purchase things I already own.

Apparently "I deserve the M22 Bookshelf Speakers". I'm pretty sure I haven't looked at the product page for months, so perhaps the emails are tied to forum posts... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TDmuCR4kKK8

The AI knows you've never heard M22s and since you've been a good boy and bought LFRs, you obviously deserve to own them.
