Just got back from our bi-yearly trip to Peninsula Lake near Dwight, ON. That meant driving by Axiom twice and sneaking a peak to see if Ian's Jag was in the parking lot ;-)

Funny how many cottage members remembered my trip to Axiom last year and the tour we got. They also remembered that I almost left a kid behind in order to fit the VP180 and EP500 in the van!

I almost gave Debbie a call as I had my eye on a b-stock M5HP in real wood and another EP500 that I don't need. Took real will power but thankfully the weather cooperated and the call of the lake was stronger. Maybe this winter when I'm back up :-)

You just crushed a lot of people. Now we need to wait 6 more months before you get new stuff?

It is a beautiful area up there for sure. I've been to Canada 5 times in my entire life, but it was a work trip to Toronto a few years back that I couldn't resist being that close and I made the almost 3.5 hour drive (each way) for the visit and tour.

I didn't leave with any speakers, but was a part of the Axiom Air blind test, plus got a lot of grief from Andrew for being the reason that the original Axiom Air was taking so long to "get right." (Long story.) It was a great trip sitting in Ian's office and shooting the bull for a while, plus the tour was really fun. Seeing some Bryston stuff in the mix on the line, plus the early 3D printed shells for the Axiom Air demo units, etc. All great, as are the people.

I did leave with a number of Axiom boxes and packaging material that I folded up and put into a separate large checked suitcase for my trip back home. I was about to send some speakers back for trade in, so having them packaged properly was great.
