Cool news in the next couple months they are adding IMAX enhanced in one of the next updates.

Have been doing some reading on their issues with GENYSIS setting levels too high +12 or +15 all around for most people. Hasn't been resolved as of yet. Seems as if they got a little behind on the bugs before the promised release date.

Although everybody whom has done the newest calibrations has no complaints aside from really high speaker levels being set. It still sounds great. Some have had issues with clipping subs. Their main work around on HTF is just lower all channels by 3Db seems to be of high success to the folks on there.

My self I've had no problems at all with a more standard advanced set up. {choosing my own crossovers and a little room gain tweaking}

I haven't had any issues with ARC Genesis outside of it putting all channels a bit hot. Not a big deal since they are pretty much all running hot, so it just means a little lower on the volume knob.

I've been messing around with it trying to hone in on a way to add a house curve. I think that I am pretty close to getting what I want. Just need a few more changes, but prior to Genesis they changes weren't even an option.

I hadn't heard about the IMAX update. Then again, I am in the midst of a massive home remodel that we started in early April. EEK. Has kept me quite busy pretty much every day that I've been home, so going through forums and groups has been more of a skim over than anything else.

I also have not had one bit of trouble with Arc Genesis with current update. Makes the PorterPlex rock! I also recently reran the software following the Genesis document on X Pattern and mic location, versus using actual seats. Sounds way better.

Randy what's all in your Porter Home Theater now. What speaker versions and amps?

No. I wasn't going there because Randy is aware of v4. I'm just curious.

So far Axiom just sent me a new amp for one of the EP350s that was having issues. I think my M80s are the oldest of what I have in my setup.
