Hi all ... an afternoon appointment was pushed back to tomorrow.

Audio Connexxion, part of Parts Connexxion in Burlington, Ontario, had its grand opening last week.

Parts Connexxion has served the DIY community for over a decade, and has done a great job buying gear from the likes of Sonic Frontiers and refurbishing them.

They now have a 4000 square foot showroom and some great names like PS Audio, Mark Levinson and BRYSTON.

Look for some posts about the place, and also some pics of the new showroom.

And maybe a purchase or 2. smile

Thanks Craig.
Have been looking at some DIY recently. Over on Audio circle was checking out building a Phono stage. Mr. Pass has some cool kits and a lot of help if necessary.
Looks like a lot of fun for a hobbyist.

The guys did a nice job putting in the show rooms. There are several systems areas and great gear from Rotel, Parasound, Mark-Levinson, Dynaudio and Revel.

There is a pair of B&W 808's that took a lot of discipline not to buy.

If you miss old fashioned stereo stores, stop in.

Based on the speakers I auditioned, the M-100's can compete even with the over $10,000 per pair Monitor audio stuff.

Glad I dropped in today, yes it's been awhile.
Thanks Craigsub for the info on Audio Connexion and Parts Connexion.

Although I'm only about 10 minutes away in Ancaster I was not aware of them. Timing couldn't be better as my old Glow amp is in need of new tubes, and who doesn't like looking at some high end audio equipment.

Also "Hello" to BBIBH

I bought my first true dedicated amp from them. they did the refurbishment on an Anthem MCA5. It was a good sounding amp but couldn't hold a candle to the Axiom ADA1000 that replaced it.

Anthem: AVM60, Fosi DAC-Q5
Axiom: ADA1500, LFR1100 Actiive, QS8, EP500, M3, M3comp, M5
