I've been looking for a Squeezebox Touch replacement device for a couple years now. A finished product that I do not have to buy components and build myself. Stand alone, plug the sucker in and use kinda thing..... Something I can stream internet music, primarily Pandora, as well as my digital FLAC files.

I stumbled onto this device. Other than it not having its own screen like the SB Touch, it looks like it will do everything I want it to do. I can even use it, verse my Amazon Fire device.

So, anyone use this with some real-world user input?

I've used Sonos for years for streaming but looked into replacing it with Bluesound and the BluOS.
Sonos does stream internet music and FLAc in the library.

I replaced a fairly high end, but couple year old, HTPC with the previous generation NVIDIA Shield about a year ago. It works amazingly well with everything I throw at it, including 4K decoding that my HTPC stumbled with. When people (in the many home theater and audio groups that I am a member of) talk about robust, performance based systems for "doing it all," the Shield is at the top of most lists.

Thanks for the feedback. Great to hear!

Sonos is pretty cool. I have it in a vacation rental. Guests who have never touched one can figure it out in minutes, and it always works. For my home though, I need something that links my sound systems to the internet and my digital media. My very old Squeezebox was (and still is) such a cool device, and very convenient, but it's become problematic and often disconnects from the network. Wireless does not work anymore. And, it's not supported. Unfortunately, it's time to put it to rest.....

Nick - where do you keep your media/audio files stored? Mine are on my office PC hard drive, and I'd prefer to move them to a different storage device so I can let my PC power down.

I have a dedicated media server (really just a decently built PC with a lot of storage). I wanted a little bit of power so that it have transcode the video/audio for multiple streams when family members are connected outside of our home network. It auto-reboots on a regular scheduled, but is running 24/7.

I looked into running a dedicated HTPC as well but i'd have to cobble parts together, find a place to physically put it, have to update yet another computer (i do 6 on a regular basis as it is), and it would need to run 24/7 anyway, so i just use my own office comp for storing music.
