Just finished Star Treck Discovery, season one. This is the series that CBS created for their streaming channel that you have to buy. I just bought the BluRay sets for both season 1 and 2. Not your "old" StarTrek series.... Kinda dark and serious. Not much humor, but it was outstanding. Great visuals, writing, and audio. I was pleasantly surprised. The timeline is pre capt Kirk, so I guess it's an entire series re-boot.

We really liked the series to. Lots of plot holes but lots of surprises to.

LOL.... I was at home, sick as hell last year, started watching Ozark, thinking it would put me to sleep so I could get some rest. Two days later I sadly finished the last episode of season 2..... Great story that I just couldn't stop watching.

I watched Parasite the other night and really liked it. Well-executed, with some nice twists and turns.

Watched Joker on 4K blu-ray last night. Amazing! Visual/audio quality was superb as well.

I need to check out Star Trek Discovery. Just started watching Project Blue Book and like it so far (just watched the 3rd episode last night). It is a 10 episode season, so I will need something else to watch soon.
In other news, I watched Terminator Dark Fate last week. I had low expectations, so it was easier to have fun with it. That being said, the Atmos soundtrack was nuts, and in a good way. One of the more active soundtracks I've heard in a while and probably one of the most active (loud) use of overhead speakers in an Atmos track than anything I remember. There are other great mixes, but this was one of the loudest use of overheads that I recall.

Season 2 of Altered Carbon on Netflix..... Not nearly as good as season 1, at least not yet and I'm about 3 episodes into it....
