David Gilmour - Live in Pompeii
Track- The Blue
This is one is a bit moody. But those are the best Gilmour songs in my opinion. I found the smooth rhythmic bass very soothing accompanied by Gilmour’s mildly haunting tone leaves a brooding and reflective mood.
As a side note too the whole album is pretty good. Sounded more convincing on my headphones than my speakers.
Overall a satisfying experience.

Oh yeah. I really enjoy Dire Straits. Especially their 1978 album. Love at Pompeii is a good listen beginning to end if you have the time. Glad you liked it!! I’m just wading into “ The Endless River “. It’s very atmospheric. Gapless playback is a must for that one. ( or anything live too , in my opinion. ). I’ve got this on my listen list too.
