I've pushed the active LFR1100 to ridiculous 115dBC peaks at 15 feet away. The HP drivers were doing a belly dance as they experienced asymmetry. But they held together and still sound great.

Trevor,
Yep, I feel the same about my two channel system. I was curious concerning ribbons , found a local manufacturer and went for a listen. Also listened to some Legacy’s. I liked what I heard and ordered a pair (not Legacy’s). Although, to my ears my tower speakers with the Raal 70-20 D ribbon tweeter aren’t very forgiving on some of my older rock recordings. But, well recorded music is spectacular and there is the reward. I’m good with that. Outstanding they are!
