Gotcha. That makes more sense. I couldn’t live with out the mid woofer. It’s the best. In my opinion of course. I bet the m50 plays V curve tunes really well.

It plays everything well actually. Some complained the M50ti needed to be turned up loud to sound good. I don't find that. Loud does sound very good though. The mid-woofer does add a lot of detail and clarity but the M50 and M3 sound is very relaxing.
House of the Rising Sone Out in the mid or far field Dedicated mid-woofers are over-rated
