Are these OK together as far as tonal matching? Any reason they can not be paired together?

No reason whatsoever.

It will most likely be fine. So far, I’ve tried the 180 with M2s, M22s, M3s, M3ow’s and LFRs and didn’t notice any problems. Think most of Axioms line up is pretty good in this way. Then again IMO my 150v4 / M2 setup presents a fairly smooth and fairly wide sound stage and a lot of others on this board complained about them (but that may have been pre V4 versions).

I am one of those who complained about the 150. It was v2. I have not heard the 150v4.

The 180 v4 is wonderful. I haven't even paired it with the m100s yet and it has an amazing soundstage. It is a thousand times better than the v2 150.
