Has anyone ordered a different lid for their Air? I have walnut nutmeg which I don't find too pretty. I'd like to get the Boston Cherry which is now offered in real wood veneer. How is it ordered?

Ian, even though I know is extremely busy, took time out to send me a Boston Cherry lid for my Force. As much as I love walnut, the nutmeg finish in some light settings was orangey enough to remind me of the God-awful shag we had in our 70s basement.

I've linked some photos of the Boston Cherry vs. The Walnut Nutmeg. Also shown is the back of the lid with the magnets.

Thank you very much, Ian. The v4 have given my family, friends and I a lot of emotional satisfaction.

P.S. I got to thinking that magnet-backed veneered panels for other gear may be something others are interested in. I don't know how many may want to change the look of their speakers or subs. Ostensibly you could have different looks for different seasons or occassions LOL!

I love the Boston Cherry. It’s my Favorite of all the finishes. At least from the pictures online. Great choice.
