Ah, Mr. Rriev, yes, they have a beautiful finish. They are wonderful sounding speakers.

I figured I'd post these pictures even though of non Axiom systems just to give folks something to look at. The site was getting a little sleepy.

I really like the picture of the sunflowers and the systems sound great!

Mr. rriev, if you ever make it from the corned beef and bean town to the sunny People's Republic of California, Orange County, let me know, and I'll put on some vinyl and throw some Brontosaurus steaks on the grill, or tofu, if you prefer.

We could have a civilized conversation about politics over some vittles.

OK, I'm back. Axiom? Here are pictures of my upstairs home theater system with a total of 9 Axiom or Axiom made speakers.

VP180, color appears washed out in this picture, dunno why, flanked by a pair of EP500s, a Thiel CS3.6 peeking on the left, Marantz 7703 Processor, Cary 7 channel amp (silver) Marantz 7025 2 channel amp, and, oh that's where the spare Yamaha M80 is.

The mighty Thiel CS3.6s and the front high, and beautiful, Michaura M55s. Recognize the black-eye pea drivers and Tweeter? 6 of those.

Sub number 3: SVS20-39. Smooths thing out.

The Velodyne, sub no. 4, is to the right of the desk next to the night table.

75" LG 4K.

Looks good. Sounds terrific.

Sorry to bump the happy face, so here ya go. ;-)

2x ... you definitely out did your self in systems ... I'm starting to lose count.
Are they all specialized?

Have a feeling the next picture will be the wilson puppy setup in the john smile

Oh Mr. rriev, I'm only thinking about putting a wee system in the johns.

Wilsons do sound great, but they are really pricey. I don't think any other speaker sounds like Wilsons. They are magnificent. The Martens have a bit of that pure, dynamic leading edge, but the Wilsons are the most realistic sounding speakers I've ever heard. Of course, their entry level floor standers, the Sabrinas, cost about $20,000.

Next pictures will be of my all-Axiom main home theater system.

Yes, they are sort of specialized. The Marten/BAT system is my main 2 channel. I listen to music while I work.

The downstairs Axiom home theater system is for guests, or when I have the time to watch a movie.

The upstairs HT Thiel/Axiom system in my bedroom doesn't get a lot of use, but, I'll listen to music before I go to sleep and it sure sounds good.

The 2.2 channel Dahlquist/Yamaha M80 system in my work out room is wonderful sounding.

I'm working on the Harbeth/Rega system in my upstairs audio room. I just picked up a short run of some Mapleshade Golden Double Helix speaker wires which sound pretty good. I use that room when I work on appellate briefs. There's a decent view out of the windows, and the music is beautiful. Previously, I used the Harman Kardon tube integrated I inherited from my father. I remember when he brought it home in 1962. It is a great sounding amp, but does not have enough power to get the most out of the Harbeths which are a bit power hungry.

I have enough equipment in my garage for a bunch of systems. I don't sell much, because I don't want to ship and I don't want strangers in my house.

I post audio pictures on this site, because, it is not only the only audio site I post on, but also because I'm pretty confident no one will see them. I also started this post because I thought things were getting a little slow around here because Mojo is not as prolific as before, although I'm hoping there will be no more posts about mankinis.

Best regards to you.

Speaker porn is the best! Great pics 2x6! Just got some QS10s i'll be posting some pics of. Love the boom in the back of the room!

btw, how does that svs tower sub compare to your 500's? Been thinking of getting one, but decided to audition the PB16 ultra instead. Hope to see it next week.

Lots of speakers from many
manufactures...mostly Axiom

Hi Rebulx

The "Boom in the Back" SVS is really old, I got it when they first came out. It is a wonderful sub, bullet-proof. The EP500s are about 15 or more years newer. The 500s are great. So is the old SVS.

I look forward to your pix!
