Charles, if you're not completely back to normal tomorrow morning, go to the hospital.

Canes, you better drink your face off right now while the tasting is good.

I got the UHD Blu-ray of Scott Pilgrim vs The World, and it's a great showcase disc. Still love the audio, and the picture does seem like a step up from the Blu-ray. I kept seeing detail I don't recall seeing before.

Watched Kate on Netflix, and it was better than expected after the disappointing Gunpowder Milkshake. Good fight choreography and general cinematic style. Great soundtrack, too. I just wasn't bowled over by the final act. Still worth the watch for me, but I wouldn't give it my highest recommendation.

I've been binging Squid Game, also on Netflix, since then. Good writing, good acting, and OMG is it shot well. They made a beautiful show. I'd say it's showcase material for a nice TV, and the audio is very satisfying as well. I haven't finished the show yet, so here's hoping the ending is not a fumble. I'm really liking it in the meantime.

I was also really sad about Norm Macdonald's passing, so I've been watching and listening to interviews, and I'll probably read his book again. I'm glad I got to see him live a couple of a years ago. Miss him already.

We watched both Kate and Gunpowder Milkshake. Enjoyed both, but agree with you about liking Kate more. The other didn't have much of an ending, and kinda dumb - but it was entertaining....

An odd one to watch is My Octupos Teacher. Not sure what inspired me to click on it, but I couldn't stop watching it.

I liked gun powder milkshake. Its just a fun non-thinker movie which I end up watching alone since no one else in my family would enjoy it.

We don't have Netflix but we do have Crave.
I haven't binge watched anything until the pandemic started and things really shuttered. Maybe two or three things, not many.
The two best lately:

Sopranos
Yes it's older but i was never sure if i had seen all the seasons and episodes b/c i wasn't a big tv person at that time, nor an avid fan.

Brockmire
Dear lord in heaven this is funny. I haven't seen something that made me laugh out loud until i almost cried. I did start coughing a bit, no choking thankfully but would have if i were eating. If you are any kind of a baseball fan, it makes it that much more hilarious.
If you haven't seen this YOU HAVE TO SEE THIS.
SOOO damn funny.
