Hi all: I have purchased the new Anthem MRX 740 to run my LFR880’s. I bought this receiver because of it’s flexibility in assigning channels. Well I received the receiver and tried to connect it to the DSP but couldn’t see exactly how to do it. I called Axiom and asked for help and spoke to a very nice lady who went online so she could view the back of this receiver. She was unable to figure how to connect the DSP as well. So I am looking for your help. Here is a link that has a picture of the front and back of this receiver: https://www.homecinemachoice.com/content/anthem-mrx-740-av-receiver-reviewThanks to you all. It will be the Front L and R connections in the Main Pre-Out section.

Ok, thank you, I thought this too, but there are other wires in the DSP to connect and I am puzzled as is the lady who helped me. Quite frankly I am kind of need step-by-step directions as I am not so audio inclined.

Which other connections on the DSP are you looking to hook up? Pre-out L+R from the receiver to Input L and Input R on the DSP. That's it for inputs. Connections from your DSP to your outboard amp should be detailed in the manual as well. At least, I'm assuming you have an external amp.

I think he is thinking he will loop back onto the onboard channels from the DSP1
Pretty sure you will not be able to do this. Might be wrong, but haven't seen it before.
