To all who have or have experience with the M1, I need your help.
I am looking to buy some M1's as my surrounds (dipole just won't work in my room). The question to you all is, does the M1 really get down to 80Hz in your room? I want to cross over the M1's with a sub at the THX standard of 80Hz. Do you think that there will be any dip in the frequency responce?
I suppose if I have to I can go with the M2's, but my wife isn't going to like that extra two inches in height.
Any input would be great,

I used to have M1's, and all I have to say is I was surprised, sometimes, at the amount of bass they produced. My ears can't tell if it was fully reproducing 80hz, however. It might have been a few decibels lower on lower bass.
My suggestion to you is buy the M2Ti, they are currently on sale and will give you more bass.
