Ok after reading & researching on the net for countless hours - deciding on this & that - changing my mind a 100 times - setting HT budget & changing it (several times) - Heres whats on the UPS & FedEx trucks heading my way

Speakers: (Boston Cherry)
M60TI pr
QS8 pr (with stands)
VP100
EP175

Electronics:
Outlaw 1050 (just as pre-amp)
Adcom GFA 7400 (100X5)

Cables & Wire:
All audio & video cables are all AR Pro line
Speaker wire - Phoenix Gold 12g

This system will be replacing a Bose Lifestyles 25 HT (why did I start reading these forums anyway - didnt know there was anything wrong with the Bose hahahahahaha)Will be gift to my brothers family

Well maybe I can get some sleep now that everything is ordered - Wait did I get the right amp - what about waiting for the Outlaw 950 pre amp - will anything get damaged on the trucks - did I read every review? Hahahahah never ends

Will report results next week when it all arrives -- If you have any tips im all ears.

ps - This forum was very helpful

Tips:
1) Get a sound pressure meter to help set-up
2) Get comfortable - you are going to be spending a lot of time in the sweet spot the next few months

that will be a great setup!

pay close attention to how well (or not) the VP100 will integrate with your M60's. If you're not totally pleased, my recommendation is you send it back and pay the extra few bucks and get the VP150.

Ravi

I think the VP 150 is just too darn physically big and imposing to put over my TV

I found a place that does some great mods to Adcom amps - changes out with high end caps, resisters, capacitors, changes internal wiring to shielded, puts in high end gold rca & speaker connectors etc etc - They have been doing this work for like 20 years - cost is like 500 - 1,000 (us) depending on what you have done - They do pre amp work too

End result is supposed to be un-godly clean, tight, detailed liquid type sound - Anyone try having an amp modded like this?
