Spacing between qs8's rear 6.1 channel surrond....

Just woundered what was the correct spacing between qs8's on the rear channnel (6.1 descret) I have a denon and have two speakers which are needed for the rear 6.1 channel, as Alan has mentioned many times in this forum the correct height is 2 to 3 feet above the lisening area but never explained the spacing for a system that has 2 qs8 as rears, some seem to say 3 to 4 feet apart (but not to far apart because it is the same channel)... maybe Alan or Ian would like to clear this up...

With quadpole surrounds, the dispersion of sound is such that you probably only need 1 speaker for the rear surround (if you need it at all). Since you already have two QS8's, though, you can pretty much mount them whatever way will be most convenient. Sticking them too close together would be pointless, but 3-4 feet apart is likely fine.
