Wow. I thought they were pretty good, in general. I did notice that when the Delorian pops back into 1985 on the bridge, the temporal booms were much more bassy than the train explosion. I'll have to dig out some action movies on DVD. If I have any... I suppose I could watch LotR, but without the 3rd Extended Edition, I don't really feel like it.

I'm not saying that the movies were not good. I have always liked them, thoroughly enjoyed them and saw them numerous times when they were still in the theater.

I was just expecting more from the remastering to DVD.

Yes, the temporal excursions were much more bassy than the train explosion...Other movies I have rattle the walls as well as the furniture we sit on...It was just not as "intense" with the BTTF movies as others created after them.

All in all, the movies are great to watch on DVD...I just wish they had augmented the appropriate scenes where warranted in the DVD remastering process.

Just my opinion...we all have them.

Nah, I didn't think you didn't like the movies, I apparently just don't have the sensitivity to DVD quality/remastering that some poeple do (yet.) I'm pretty new to this whole thing. I just know that I don't really like the audio quality on T2: Ultimate Edition...

Asher770, Any progress on this? I'm curious if you discovered anything.

Back from hijacked thread land...

How about room size? If any 2 walls are the same length or multiples of another, problems such as what you are experiencing will occur.

It sounds like you are dealing with some untamed Bass Nodes / coupling. You'll need a buddy to help you with this as you'll need someone to position the speakers for you until you get the desired effect. Try moving them closer to/away from the wall, raise them off the floor (spikes)...

good attitude. mine exactly. I've come to like this board because it doesn't typically have the abbrasive attitudes that other boards have... and the usual skum-bag troller just trying to stir some [censored] pot up doesn't usually last long here. Plus, it's been very informative for me.
