Can anyone out there recomend any good online Canadian computer retailers. I'm looking to buy myself a new computer.
More specifically, I'm looking for places that either assemble their own custom PC's, or let you do that (ie, I don't want to just buy a Dell or something like that) online. So far I've found mdg.ca and ncix.com.

what do you mean by assemble your own pc. Dell lets you pretty much choose what you want. or do you mean buy the parts and put it together yourself?

specifically in canada? I don't know.. I build them myself and tend to buy parts from newegg.com or tigerdirect.com. Sometimes I'll order from a lesser known site if they've got a really good price, but I've been pretty happy with customer support from these two places. If you're looking specifically for a site where you can pick the exact parts you want and have them assemble it, why not go the extra mile and build it yourself?

newegg.com is very popular. not sure if they deliver to canada.

I order all of my computer gear from ncix.com. They have very good prices (especailly the weekly specials), and shipping costs/timing are reasonable.
tigerdirect.ca also has good pricing, although I've never ordered from them.

Just thought I'd chime in and say that newegg and tigerdirect have treated me well in the past and I recommend them, too, if they're the sort of thing you're looking for. Otherwise, I recommend Apple
