This post is what convinced me to come back (not that I was gone for long). I had felt the need to take a break for a week or so, because all the politics and unpleasant trolls were getting me down. (I know, I've contributed to both). But it's nice to have such an (overall) great group of people to interact with.

the trolls are gone, and the politics thread has been remarkably civil. we have started some gun talk, so i am interested to see where that will go..?
