Air went out on my car just as the warranty ran out and Im short some $$, I can save for the M80's or I can go ahead and get some M22's and stands (I already have a sub). Would I be better off saving for the M80's or are the M22's with a sub just as good? This is a 70% music 30% HT setup.

Tim, this might depend on the size of your listening room and how high your listening level would be. The M80 with its multiple drivers could play to louder levels in a large room. If you have a small to medium room and don't listen at extremely high volume the M22s plus a good sub should be excellent. Incidentally, you shouldn't automatically assume that you have to buy stands for the M22s. The basic idea is to have the tweeters pointing at your ear level, whether they're on stands or directly on the floor and tilted back slightly. Experiment.

Enjoy the music, not the equipment.
