Just thought I would post that the the Denon 2900 is on sale at A&B sound in Alberta for 850$ Canadian (650$USD).

This is quite a steal for anyone that is looking for a higher-end DVD player. I don't know if it is on sale over the rest of Canada, but I thought I would let you know just in case anyone was looking.

This is why they're blowing out the 2900's.

Oh...and Ecost also has the sexy silver version now as well. Only $529.

Aren't all the products at E-cost used/refurbished?

Anyway, I am looking at buying a DVD, SACD, DVD-A player and somehting like this would be nice. I am looking at the Pioneer Elite's as well.

Can anyone tell me if the MP3 functionality on these units allows the unit to read the file name of the MP3's and display them on the TV that the DVD player is hooked up to?

I was thinking that if I put 1-2000 MP3's on a DVD, that I won't be able to write all of the song titles on the disc case.

The Denon 3910 is out if anybody cares. Tweeter in Houston has stock and so do a few other places. Some bigger guy's however don't. I wonder why? I just called my local Denon guy and he had one in stock as a demo and sold it. He has yet to hear from Denon when he will get more.

Ecost is refurb/returns, yes.

From EVERYTHING I've ever read, the Denon dvd players far outclass any of the Elite stuff.
