Anyone tried this unit yet? I'm considering this unit with the ever popular Yamaha RX-V1400. They both have about the same features (at least the ones i'm interested in). I'll be running a pair of M2i's, VP100, Qs4's and an EP125. Any comments would be appreciated

Hari, if your judgment is that the features are about equal, then price would make the 1014 an outstanding bargain at about $400 and $150 or more lower than the 1400. One point on the features to note is that the automatic equalization of the 1400 is parametric and is therefore(at least on paper)more advanced than the system on the 1014. So, slight edge to the 1400 except when price is taken into account, but another factor to watch on the price is that since the new 1500 will be out next month, the 1400 may be available at an even more attractive figure.
