From the EP600 page:
In reply to:
Sure, elves don't come cheap, but if you want the ultimate in pure, subterranean bass, the Epicenter EP600 delivers.
One problem.
Elves are not subterranean creatures. They are forest dwelling.
Perhaps Axiom should change the DSP function to something like D.W.A.R.F instead.
The Digital Wtih Analog Realtime Frequency control.
Or maybe Digitally Wondrous And Really Freaky thingamabob.
I'm spending way too much time in here again.

Chess you don't know your elves nearly as well as Amie obviously does. She's clearly speaking of the Drow. I guess the bigger issue is hiring evil creatures to work for Axiom. Hmmmmm...
Yeah...it case you missed it, I'm a dork.

if you answered yes to at least half of these, you are an official dork.. count me in!!

Well spiff i stand corrected.
As you know, i'm not too big on mythology...
Perhaps you forgot about my original guess that there were no elves at Axiom? (apparently the second link is dead now)

You guys are funny.
I saw Lyle Lovett on Saturday. It was awesome. He has a new song in which he sings...
"I went to high school. I was not popular. Now I'm older, and it don't matter".
But yeah, I think the utter and complete absence of women in these forums proves that the dork quotient is through the roof.

Who Drizzt? Pick up a copy of Balder's Gate: Dark Alliance (1 and 2) for the PS2. You can play as him.
I'm guessing you were not refering to Liv Tyler as Arwin. She was just way to vacant for me.
Now, Cate Blanchet as Galadriel... different story. She would make me do 'dirty' things and make me like it!

Answer your question?
Looking up pictures of Legolas, and info on Drow elves has me wanting to play Neverwinter Nights again. It's been awhile. That game is really great.

Yeah, somehow I figured it was him.
I want to dislike him for being so pretty, but he is a decent actor (aka not mr block of inanimate wood Keanu Reeves).

I'm really only kidding, but I still haven't seen the movie. Is it really as good as everyone makes it out to be?

LOTR series was good, but ROTK was not deserving of all its accolades, IMO. The special effects were great - unbelievably good - but from an artistic standpoint it was a hollow movie. Don't get me wrong, it was fantastic entertainment, worth more than what I paid to rent it... but it just doesn't strike me as an "important" movie that will stand the test of time.

I agree that ROTK was a bit over hyped. I enjoyed the first movie the most. The extended version of part 2 was far better than the theatrical release. I'm hoping the extra 50 minutes in ROTK will help me enjoy part 3 better as well.

Don't I know it, Chess - it was very hard to get the elves down below 19 Hz!!!

I do work for the band, actually...
Catchy song... every time I hear "I'm afraid..." the chorus pops into my head.

Elves are pretty small; naturally they would explode at 19 Hz...

Exploding elves...that sounds like the lemmings that turn themselves into bombs (for those here that remember that game)
