Well I just put the Axioms and the Yamie to a mind blowing test- ant I doubt it really tested any thing but my ears

I creeped the volume up to +2 (I don’t understand the system yet)

Man the axioms did nothing but deliver

The QS8s in back held Gettis Bass like it was a fine honed blade- sharp, tight and thick.

I couldn’t believe the 8s in back could deliver what they did.

As for the front on the 22’s and the 150 center it was like a front row seat at loud concert-

BTW the Yamie didn’t seem to mind at all.

I have bo idea how much farther I could push this- I would wager it can exceed what is humanly tolerable

It was that loud at +2 and no sign of fatigue!!!

Amzaing on both the speakers and the receiver

And oh- La Villa Stangiato by Rush is no slouch

i swear i hear 5 or 6 or 7 rythems sometimes

Neal is just in some insane zone to "NOT" control his body and let it be so fluid

amazing

That is what I was getting to when I mentioned he has been through a lot. More then I care to imagine to be honest.

In reply to:

Neil Peart's second book, "Ghost Rider," is an extraordinary document that details an incredibly painful time in his life and the recovery process that followed. In August 1997 Neil and then-wife Jackie Taylor lost their daughter Selena in a one-car traffic accident. Disconsolate, Jackie fell into a deep depression and was diagnosed with terminal cancer, dying some ten months later. (Peart attributes her death to a broken heart, and who's to argue?) Peart documents these events early on in "Ghost Rider", sparing details but leaving no doubt as to the effect these events had on his life. Shortly after Jackie's death Peart, feeling he had little to lose, saddled up his BMW motorcycle and went on a soul-searching journey that covered some 28,000 miles, from Inuvik in the Northwest Territories to Mexico. He had doubts that this journey would help him to recover from those tragic events, but at that point he knew he had to do something. For Peart, motion was the key - just keep moving. Peart chronicles this journey, as well as other journeys that take him from Canada's Maritime Provinces to Los Angeles, mainly through a series of letters written to family and friends, especially with his best friend, at the time in jail for marijuana possession.

nice to see a bio that is unfortunatley "human"

and of course everyone knows about his own issue with bone marrow cancer or something like that.

thankfully he is still doing his thing.

and I have many friend (from my Party days) who were drummers ...

ok they were frustrated drummers...trying to pay tribute to Neil

one that I know of did make it into a "REAL" band for a while: Pontius Pilate

he was the best drummer i ever knew

I never heard any of their stuff- i must be getting old- for the hardcore scene

Rush will keep me going for along time to come
